Personal Training, But Better
Since the start of my coaching career in 2008, I have made the word “quality” part of my coaching mission. For me, It’s not about bragging rights or trends. I teach functional fitness and establish basics in order to progress over time. Our bodies are meant to move in certain ways and it’s important to remember that when selecting a fitness program. I choose to dedicate a lot of time to each client which fulfills me both as a trainer and confidant. When it comes to approaching fitness and implementing a plan that actually works, I’m your girl.
I craft personalized fitness and wellness programs for my clients targeting their specific needs, wants + desires. This isn’t a downloadable program, fit for many. This is a custom experience fit for one; you.
Most of my clients experience the biggest shifts during our bi-weekly nutrition discussions, where you can expect to receive lots of helpful advice and connect with me outside of session.

Digitizing your SerenaFit experience keeps things organized and easy to access in our app. Think of the app as part of your daily routine that speaks directly to your self-care practice. Open it and view your daily wellness to-dos, created just for you.
During your onboarding process, you’ll let your coach know about the things you want to work on. From there we upload them to your account and begin to track your progress. We can make changes if travel pops up, we can add additional routines if you want more work or we can pull back based on your energy levels. Your program is put in place for you to enhance your lifestyle and reap the rewards from consistent, daily action.

Cultivating a better you
The results people see aren’t always numbers on a scale. They’re from a commitment they make to themselves paired with a lot of consistency. That’s what I’m after as your support team and trainer; establishing healthy habits that support healthy living.
Over time you’ll experience positive changes, non-scale victories, and new challenges that test you in ways you never thought. This is where we grow, learn about ourselves, and see things through a different lens.
First 30 days: Cultivate
Here you’ll experience “the shift” as I like to call it. This is a time to hold yourself accountable, be open to new routines, and start feeling comfortable with the idea of change. In the past, we were told that a new habit takes 21 days to form, but really it’s much longer; 60+ days according to new studies.
Long-lasting change takes time. In this first phase, we are learning new concepts, breaking old habits, and working on proper nourishment. Hard days will happen. Don’t dwell on them. Keep moving and by the end of your first month, you’ll be well on your way to a healthier, happier you.
Days 31-60: Nourish
Balanced meals are being cooked and boxes are being checked. Here I’d expect you to gain a new sense of confidence and accomplishment. Not everything is easy, and not everything will go according to plan, but you’re OK with that now. This is a lifestyle change that promises long-term health and that’s worth pursuing. Routine by definition is an action that’s repeated daily.
You’re beginning to understand that this is a lifestyle now and your old, conditioned habits weren’t serving you the way you deserved or needed. Mindfulness is becoming a part of your everyday and that’s where true change happens.
Days 61-90: Elevate
Get ready for a perspective shift. We’ll turn the corner together in phase three, having experienced a few ups and downs; we’ve made it through. Viewing food as medicine and fitness as a celebration of movement; this is your new mantra. You’ve adopted new habits, built strength, and have an entirely new perspective on your health and life.
Health is not something to take for granted and requires a daily effort to maintain. I’m hopeful that using the tools and resources I’ve provided allows you to stay focused on what your definition of wellness truly is and motivates you to continue down this path.
Why 3 Months?
We need time together. One month is not enough time to see results and make an indelible change. This is an integral part of my training principal. My time with you is designed to not only change your body but to transform your mindset and shift your perspective so you can realize your true potential as a happy, healthy adult.
